Welcome to “Petals & Blooms Quilts and Needlework”
We are a “little shop” that specializes in handwork . Remember the sweet redwork and bluework of years ago . . . and the cute little tea towels and beautiful embroidered pillowcases at Grandma’s house? Come and reminisce. . .where there is a selection of embroidery patterns to stitch up and sew into a quilt. There is also a variety of appliqué patterns and books to choose from. Lots of specialty threads to use for embroidery and appliqué. . .12wt Sulky, Valdani and Presencia perle cotton, Superior threads for hand piecing and hand quilting. We have sewing notions, too – needles, marking pencils, thimbles, and I almost forgot. . .FABRIC!!! Nice selection of light backgrounds, reds, greens, blues, blacks, and some 30’s prints and solids. . .a few batiks, too! Our vendor season runs from March through October. Click on the “Vendor Schedule” for a list of quilt shows where we will be a vendor. The “little shop” will be CLOSED on our vendor dates. Hope to see you soon!
